RICHMOND, Va. (October 30, 2017) – James Madison University midfielder
Manuel Ferriol was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Men’s Soccer Player of the Week while Northeastern’s
Dan Munch was named the CAA Rookie of the Week in the final set of awards for the season.

Sophomore Manuel Ferriol clinched the CAA Regular Season Championship and the No. 1 seed for James Madison with a goal against Drexel in the regular season finale. Ferriol scored the game-winner off a free kick from 25 yards out. The goal was his seventh of the season, which leads the team this season. This is the second consecutive CAA Player of the Week honor for Ferriol and the third of the season.

Freshman Dan Munch scored the middle goal of Northeastern's 3-2 winning effort against Vermont on October 24. He registered three of the Huskies' 12 shot attempts as a member of the starting 11. Against UNCW, he recorded one of Northeastern's two shot attempts, nearly tying the game in the 80th minute.
