CAA Offensive Player of the Week
Bryan Schor, Jr., QB, James Madison (Milford, Pa./Delaware Valley)
Schor recorded 312 yards of total offense and five touchdowns in James Madison’s 42-39 victory at New Hampshire that snapped the Wildcats’ 17-game regular-season home winning streak. The junior quarterback completed 15-of-24 passes for a career-high 242 yards and 4 TD’s and also rushed for a team-best 70 yards and a TD on 12 carries.
CAA Defensive Player of the Week
Tyrice Beverette, Jr., DB, Stony Brook (Lakewood, N.J./Lakewood)
Beverette registered a team-high 11 tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss (22 yards), a sack and a forced fumble in Stony Brook’s 14-3 win over Rhode Island. The junior defensive back led a Seawolves’ defense that limited the Rams to just 134 total yards and a first-quarter field goal.
CAA Special Teams Player of the Week
Griffin Trau, So., PK, Richmond (Culver, Ind./Western Reserve Academy)
Trau was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals and converted a pair of extra points as Richmond defeated Villanova, 23-0. The sophomore made field goals of 30, 33 and 33 yards against VU and is now 12-of-13 for the season.
CAA Rookie of the Week
Earnest Edwards, Fr., WR, Maine (Rochester, N.Y./Aquinas Institute)
Edwards contributed 192 yards of total offense in a variety of ways as Maine edged UAlbany, 20-16. The freshman wide receiver caught four passes for a career-high 79 yards and a touchdown, rushed three times for 30 yards and contributed an 83-yard kickoff return.
