RICHMOND, Va. – CAA Football has finalized its television package for the 2015 season, and is again set to feature one of the nation’s top lineups with partners NBCSN, NBC Sports Regional Networks and the American Sports Network.
CAA Football’s broadcast partners will televise a total of 24 regular-season games in 2015. Four of the contests will be carried nationally on NBCSN. The Emmy Award-winning network is the 24/7 cable home for NBC Sports, and is available in more than 84 million households.
NBC Sports Regional Networks – which include CSN Mid-Atlantic, CSN Philadelphia, CSN New England and SNY – will carry 11 CAA Football games this season.
The CAA Football on American Sports Network package will include nine games this fall. ASN – the collegiate sports initiative of the Sinclair Broadcast Group – has affiliates that reach approximately 38.9-percent of U.S. households. Sinclair operates 162 television stations airing 376 channels in 79 markets, and has affiliations with all the major networks nationwide.
CAA Football’s televised games will also be available on a variety of desktop, mobile, tablet and smart TV devices.
NBC Sports Live Extra – NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product - will carry each of the NBCSN and CSN games at no cost to authenticated subscribers.
In addition, CAA.tv will provide free digital simulcasts of every ASN game, and of the CSN contests for out-of-market viewers.
CAA Football’s 2015 television package gets underway on Sept. 12 when Rhode Island visits UAlbany in the season’s first league matchup. The game is set to kick at 3:30 p.m. on ASN.
The following Saturday will showcase the first two CSN telecasts. Delaware at Villanova gets the double-header started at noon, followed by UAlbany at James Madison at 3 p.m.
NBCSN’s national package picks up on Oct. 3 with a primetime matchup between William & Mary and Delaware at 7:30 p.m.
In total, CAA Football’s television lineup includes at least one game on every Saturday between Sept. 12 and Nov. 21. Four of the Saturdays – Sept. 19, Oct. 3, Oct. 31 and Nov. 7 – will feature a CAA Football triple-header.
The regular season will conclude on Nov. 21 with CSN carrying either the Villanova at James Madison or William & Mary at Richmond matchup at noon. CSN will select between the two games no later than two weeks in advance.
Specific CSN and ASN clearances will be announced weekly throughout the season. CAA Football will release additional non-conference television details when they become available.
