RICHMOND, Va. – CAA Football announced its Players of the Week from week 10 on Monday, recognizing New Hampshire’s Sean Goldrich, UAlbany’s Malachi Hoskins, William & Mary’s DeVonte Dedmon and Stony Brook’s Donald Liotine.
Offensive Player of the Week
Sean Goldrich | QB | New Hampshire
- Completed 21-of-36 passes for a season-high 264 yards in New Hampshire’s victory over league-leader Richmond.
- Connected on a pair of touchdowns, including a third-quarter strike that re-established a two-score lead for the Wildcats.
- Added seven carries for 26 yards and a score on the ground for UNH.
Defensive Player of the Week
Malachi Hoskins | DL | UAlbany
- Led a dominant UAlbany defensive against Delaware by posting a career-high nine tackles and four tackles-for-loss.
- The performance also included two sacks, a forced fumble and a pass breakup.
- Helped the Great Danes hold Delaware to just 224 yards of total offense.
Special Teams Player of the Week
DeVonte Dedmon | WR/PR | William & Mary
- Returned a first-quarter Elon punt 70 yards for a touchdown as William & Mary opened with 27-straight points in its win over the Phoenix.
- Also had one kickoff return for 30 yards and four receptions for 33 yards in the matchup.
- Has now taken both a punt and a kickoff back for scores this season for the Tribe.
Rookie of the Week
Donald Liotine | RB | Stony Brook
- Finished with career highs of 38 carries and 204 rushing yards in Stony Brook’s non-conference victory over Howard.
- Accounted for both of the Seawolves’ touchdowns in the contest – the first on a 14-yard run and the second on a five-yard carry.
- Becomes the fifth player in CAA Football to record a 200-yard rushing game in 2015.
