RICHMOND, Va. (October 22, 2009) - The Colonial Athletic Association has announced its Silver Anniversary team in men's swimming and diving, which includes seven All-Americans, 13 former CAA Swimmers of the Year and a pair of CAA Divers of the Year.

As part of its 25^th Anniversary celebration in 2009-10, the CAA is recognizing Silver Anniversary teams in 21 championship sports.  The teams are selected by a panel of current and former head coaches in the conference.

Members of the CAA Silver Anniversary team for men's swimming and diving are:

Men's swimming and diving has been part of the CAA since its inception in 1985-86 and the conference has produced athletes who have competed well on a national and international level. James Madison owns a league-high nine CAA titles, including six straight from 1992-97 and three in a row from 1999-2001. UNC Wilmington has dominated the conference in recent years, capturing eight consecutive championships since 2002. American (1989, 1990), East Carolina (1986, 1989) and Navy (1987, 1988) also won a pair of CAA championships.
