Six CAA women's lacrosse players were named to the rosters for the IWLCA/Under Armour North-South Senior All-Star Game. The Division I game, as well as the Division II and Division III contests, will take place on Saturday, June 13 at the United Sports Training Center in Downington, Pa. as part of the Champions’ Cup Tournament. The Division I game will start at 2 p.m.

Chosen to the North squad were Delaware's Jessica Cerveny and Erin Zimmerman. Selected to the South squad were George Mason's Maggie Bridges, JMU's Jamie Dardine and Towson's Meggie McNamara and Julie Ondrako.

Cerveny, a first team All-CAA and third team All-America selection, started all 18 games in goal for the Blue Hens and played every minute of all but one game when she was relieved for just 14:34. She played 1075:26 minutes in goal for the Hens this season, which ranks third all-time in school history. She allowed 150 goals and made 157 saves. Cerveny ranked in the top-five in the conference in three categories. She was No. 1 in goals against average at 8.54 per game, No. 2 in save percentage (.494) and fifth in groundballs per game with 2.75.

Zimmerman, a converted true defender turned midfielder for her senior season, did a little bit of everything for the Hens this season. Also a first team All-CAA selection, she was particularly impressive on defense, causing a team-high 22 turnovers. Offensively, she scored seven points on four goals and three assists. A sharp-shooter, she took just five shots to score those four goals for an .800 shooting percentage. She also ranked second on the team with 42 groundballs and won 11 draw controls on the season.

Bridges earned her third consecutive First-Team All-CAA selection this season and was the CAA Defensive Player of the Year in 2008. She wrapped up her senior year ranked third in the nation and first in the CAA in ground balls per game with an average of 3.81 per contest. The Fairfax, Va. native led the Patriots in caused turnovers with a total of 24. A standout in the classroom as well, Bridges was recently named the CAA Scholar-Athlete Award recipient for women’s lacrosse for the second consecutive season.

Dardine, a 2009 All-Colonial Athletic Association second-team selection, led JMU in points (50) and assists (16) and was second in goals (34) this spring. She is the 14th JMU player in the last 16 years to participate in the all-star game.

Honored as the 2009 Colonial Athletic Association Defensive Player of the Year, Ondrako led the Tigers to their second straight CAA Championship and was named as the Most Outstanding Player of the CAA Tournament. A two-time first team All-CAA selection, she ranked fourth in the CAA with 53 ground balls in 19 games and also had 32 caused turnovers, which ranked third in the CAA. Ondrako finished her career ranked third on the Tigers’ career list with 164 ground balls. She also had 90 caused turnovers in her career, which ranks second in school history.

A first team All-CAA selection, McNamara led the CAA with 77 points. She ranked sixth in NCAA Division I with 43 assists, setting a school record. She also added 34 goals in 19 games, including a pair of four-goal efforts in the Tigers’ wins over Delaware and Hofstra. She tallied at least one assist in all of the Tigers’ 19 games this year, including a career-high five-assist performance against William & Mary in the CAA semi-finals. McNamara finished her career as the fifth-leading scorer in school history with 133 goals and 191 points. In addition, she ended her career ranked fourth on the Tigers’ all-time list with 58 assists.
