COMCAST SPORTSNET ANNOUNCES COMPREHENSIVE LINEUP OF 2008 CAA FOOTBALL COVERAGE

BETHESDA, Md. (August 22, 2008) -- Comcast SportsNet announces today the network’s comprehensive 2008 CAA Football lineup. The network partners with one of the nation’s elite FCS conferences for a comprehensive lineup of live game broadcasts and extensive coverage within SportsNite with “SportsNite on Campus: Kickoff Week.”

In addition to airing nine live CAA Football games this season, Comcast SportsNet will highlight local college programs throughout the Mid-Atlantic region during “SportsNite on Campus: Kickoff Week.” Throughout the week-long college football preview, beginning Sunday, Aug. 24, the network will focus on CAA Football’s 2008 season with a trip to Richmond for an exclusive feature on new head coach Mike London, a glimpse into the preseason preparations for the James Madison Dukes as they look to capitalize on the No. 3 preseason coaches poll ranking, along with extensive previews of each team, coach and player interviews and the most up-to-date news and injury reports. All Kickoff Week elements will be featured during SportsNite at 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. and Washington Post Live at 5 p.m.

Comcast SportsNet’s live CAA Football game coverage begins Saturday, Oct. 4 as Northeastern visits Towson live on the network at 12 p.m.
