DREXEL MEN'S BASKETBALL HELP PROMOTES CANCER AWARENESS

PHILADELPHIA - On Friday, September 25th, Drexel Men's Basketball participated in the Philadelphia Cancer Treatment/Radiation Oncology Center's event to promote awareness about prostrate cancer prevention and treatment. 

The event took place at the center, located at One Presidential Boulevard on City Line Avenue.  Approximately 200 people attended the event and over 30 men underwent prostrate screenings. 

Drexel men's basketball players Kevin Phillip and Yannick Formbor Nono are pictured at a "shoot around station" interacting with many of the children and adults who were present. 

Drexel basketball affirms its commitment to Philadelphia's campaign to find the cure through Coaches vs. Cancer and events such as this.  Yannick, Kevin and their coaches are making plans for the team to partner with this organization in the future, especially to help with the Gary Papa Run.
