PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Jantien Gunter • Drexel
Groningen, Netherlands/Maartens College, Jr., Goalkeeper

Gunter became the third goalkeeper to earn weekly honors this season following stout performances in net that helped the Dragons earn a 1-1 split. In Drexel’s 1-0 win over Lafayette, Gunter preserved the win by registering four saves en route to earning her third shutout of the year -- tied for first in the league. In Sunday’s 1-0 loss to then-No. 16 Temple, she made six stops in defeat and didn’t allow the goal until the 44th minute. The Netherlands native, who now owns nine shutouts over her career, also leads the CAA in goals against average (1.52) and save percentage (.775).

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Meghan Winesett • Delaware
Centreville, Va./Westfield, Fr., Forward

Winesett has continually improved over the course of her first collegiate season and it showed on Sunday in a 3-2 victory over Columbia. The Hens only played once over the weekend, but earned their 10th win of the year -- for the first time since 2009 -- while Winesett scored the eventual-game winner with 4:02 remaining in the first half to put her team ahead 3-1. It was her first career game-winning tally for the Virginia native, who also picked up weekly honors on Sept. 24. Winesett ranks second on UD with six goals and 18 points and first with six assists this season.
