PLAYER OF THE WEEK:
Maddie McCormick • UNCW
So., Forward, Newark, Del./Alexis I. DuPont

McCormick was named the MVP of the UNCW Courtyard Marriott Wilmington Invitational after contributing three goals and an assist in the Seahawks’ two victories last weekend. The sophomore forward contributed two goals, including the game-winner, and an assist in a 4-2 triumph over Longwood on Sunday and also had a goal in UNCW’s 4-2 win over Texas A&M Corpus Christi on Friday.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:
Ashley Herndon • James Madison
Fr., Forward, Ashburn, Va./Stone Bridge

Herndon recorded a goal and an assist in James Madison’s 3-2 victory at Charlotte last Friday. The freshman assisted on Lauren Wilson’s goal that gave the Dukes a 1-0 lead. With the game tied at 2-2 in the 60th minute, Herndon tallied the game-winning goal from 10 yards out. She leads JMU with three goals and seven points this season.
