ODUís Brumley Named CAA Wrestler of Week, Drexelís Goodwin Selected as CAA Rookie of Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ - Brennan Brumley of Old Dominion University has been named the Colonial Athletic Association Wrestler of the Week and Jacob Goodwin of Drexel University is the CAA Rookie of the Week for all competition January 29-February 4.

Brumley, a senior 149/157 from Center Line, Mich. (Warren Woods Tower), defeated the 29th ranked wrestler in the nation from Central Michigan at 157, once again filling in for the injured John Nicholson.

Coming in off the bench Brumley has compiled a 20-8 record at 149 and 157 this season.

Goodwin, a freshman 125 from Dallas, Texas (Bishop Lynch), won a major decision over the third ranked 125 in the CAA from Boston U. It was his third major and it gave the Dragons a 10-3 lead in the 22-12 CAA victory. 

Currently ranked fourth in the CAA, Goodwin picked up his 12th collegiate victory and is now 2-1 in CAA duals.
