RICHMOND, Va. (February 29, 2013) - UNCW's Lori Beth Adams and Xavier's Breanna Patz were named CAA Women's Golfers of the Month after strong play to start the spring season.
Adams scored 79-72-74-225 (+9) at the Florida State University Match Up Tournament on the par 72, 6,314-yard Southwood Golf Course in Tallahassee, Fla. The junior finished tied for 18th in the 54-hole tournament to lead the Seahawks. She posted her fourth round of par or lower this season with even-par total in the second round.
Patz finished tied for second place at the Le Triomphe Collegiate Invitational after carding 75-77-76-228 (+12) on the 72 par, 6,226-yard course of the Le Triomphe Country Club in Broussard, La. Her second place finish was Patz's best of the season and second top-10 finish during her senior campaign. Patz led the Musketeers to a second place team finish at the event.
