CAA MEN'S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Nick Trizano • Drexel | Jr., M, East Chester, N.Y./Iona Prep
Trizano received Player of the Week honors after leading Drexel to a 20-19 come-from-behind victory over No. 16 Albany. The junior midfielder scored four goals in the win to go along with a pair of assists. The win helped the Dragons pop up in the national polls to No. 14 in the USILA Coaches Poll and No. 18 in the Nike/Inside Lacrosse Poll. Trizano led the Dragons to the highest scoring men's lacrosse game for Drexel since the 21-11 win over Saint Joseph's on April 28, 1998. The East Chester, N.Y., native has six goals and three assists in this early season.
CAA MEN'S LACROSSE ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Zachary Oliveri • Massachusetts | Fr., G, Ronkonkoma, N.Y./Connetquot
Oliveri collected Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after helping the Minutemen defense hold Harvard to just six goals during an 8-6 Massachusetts road victory. The freshman came up with eight saves, including a pair of stops on attempts from the edge of the crease. He made a pair of stops when UMass was man-down in the first quarter to keep Harvard from entering the break ahead and proved instrumental during the decisive second quarter, when the Minutemen outscored the Crimson, 4-0.
