They don't alway's do it pretty, but they do it hard. The only thing I want at the end of the season is for the kids to walk off the field, knowing they played hard. The final score is not always the prize," said ODU Head Coach Beth Anders.

Two minutes into the match, Kati Nearhouse gave ODU a 1-0 lead off a corner with the assists from Stephanie Kratzer and Kelsey Smither.

Rebecca Condie put the Lady Monarchs up 2-0 off a rebound shot, then Batten added her 26th and 27th goals of the season late in the first half and at the beginning of the second half.Lydia Velzian scored the fifth and final goal.

"We play a very hard schedule and we've developed confidence from playing such a strong and difficult schedule," said Anders.
