CAA MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK

Jack Forster • Penn State | Sr., A, Jenkintown, Pa./La Salle College H.S.

Forster earned CAA Player of the Week after leading Penn State to a 13-6 victory over No. 12 Drexel with four goals and an assist for a five-point afternoon in a conference victory. The senior attacker opened play with a hat trick to stake PSU a 3-1 lead after one period. Forster also added three ground balls and did not commit a turnover in the win. The hat trick was his 11th of his career and he is currently riding a 23-game point streak dating back to March 3, 2012.

Andrew Wascavage • Towson | Sr., GK, Drayden, Md./St. Mary’s Ryken

Wascavage received CAA Player of the Week for the second straight week as he helped the Tigers to a 9-5 conference win over Massachusetts and made a season-best 20 saves while protecting the goal. The senior picked up five groundballs and made four point-blank saves. Wascavage’s five goals allowed against the Minutemen tied a career-low. He has now made double-digit saves in every game this season.
