12:00 p.m. UPDATE: Thursday's games of the 2013 CAA Softball Championship in Hempstead, N.Y. are currently delayed due to rain that is moving through the area. The CAA Championship Committee has pushed the start time of today's first game to 2:30 p.m.

Top-seeded Hofstra and second-seeded James Madison will now start at 2:30 p.m., in the winners bracket.  Third-seeded Delaware will face fourth-seeded Towson in the first elimination game, originally scheduled for 2:30 p.m., which will now follow 30 minutes after the conclusion of Hofstra/JMU. The loser of the Hofstra/JMU contest will face the winner of the Delaware/Towson game, hopefully later this evening as well.  More details to follow as they become available.

All games of the Championship will be video-streamed live on CAA.TV for FREE and live stats will also be available the final two days of the championship. The streams will also be simulcast on a combination of CSNWashington.comCSNBaltimore.com and CSNPhilly.com. Full information and links at CAA Softball Championship Central.
