Weather Forces Change In CAA Baseball Schedule

HARRISONBURG, Va. (May 23, 2013) – For the second straight day, inclement weather has caused a change in the schedule for the 2013 CAA Baseball Championship.

Game 5 of the championship between second-seeded William & Mary and #6 James Madison will resume at 9 a.m. on Friday. The Tribe is leading 12-3 in the bottom of the third inning. The loser of that game will return at 11 a.m. to face #5 Northeastern in an elimination contest (Game 6).

At 2:30 p.m., #4 Towson meets the W&M/JMU victor in the winners’ bracket (Game 7). Top-seeded UNCW faces the winner of Game 6 at 6 p.m. (Game 8).

Game 9 of the championship, which features the loser of Game 7 against the winner of Game 8, is tentatively set for 9:30 p.m. on Friday.
