Hofstra's Petty, Delaware's Slane Collects CAA Women's Golfers Of The Week – Oct. 19

RICHMOND, Va. (October 19, 2011) - Hofstra's Lauren Petty and Delaware's Andrea Slane received CAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors after a strong outings last week at the Rutgers Invitational. 

Petty earned a tie for sixth place after scoring 78-76-154 (+10), while Slane followed carding 76-79-155 (+11) for her best individual finish of the season (9^th).  Petty's top-10 finish was her third straight. Slane, a freshman, helped the Blue Hens to a fifth place team finish, while Petty, a freshman, led the Pride to a seventh place team finish. The event was played at the par 72, 6,034-yard Rutgers University Golf Course.
