RICHMOND, Va. (November 12, 2013) – William & Mary junior Megan Howard and Drexel sophomore Madison Kramer have been named CAA Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, the league announced on Tuesday.

Howard set a season-best time in the 50-yard freestyle, swimming in a blazing 23.43 seconds for a first-place finish versus Duke this past weekend. The McLean, Va., native, who earned her second weekly honor of the season, also placed second in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 51.62 and helped the Tribe finish second in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:45.29. Over her career, Howard has won three weekly honors.

Kramer became the first Drexel swimmer or diver to grab weekly honors after first-place finishes in both the 1-and 3-meter dive. The sophomore led all competitors with a score of 230.33 in the 1-meter and 243.98 in the 3-meter.
