RICHMOND, Va. (October 22, 2013) – Towson senior Kaitlin Burke and Delaware sophomore Kristina Congdon have been named CAA Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively.

Burke earns her second weekly honor of the season after setting the fastest times in the CAA for the 200-, 500-, and 1,000-yard free styles so far this year, helping the Tigers win their road-dual meet this past weekend versus Georgetown and William & Mary. Burke swam the 200 in 1:51.50, the 500 in 4:56.85 and the 1,000 in 10:06.80. On top of that, the senior also swam part of the winning 400-yard free style relay team with a split of 51.95.

Congdon, a native of Yardley, Pa., captured first-place honors in the 1-meter (258.98) and 3-meter (260.80) dive events. Thanks in part to her efforts, the Blue Hens captured their second consecutive dual meet by defeating George Mason, 161-139.
