RICHMOND, Va. (September 18, 2013) – William & Mary junior Kelly Okun received CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week honors after a third place finish at the W&M Fall Invitational.

The junior, who competed as an individual, carded 76-73-70—218 (+5) on the par 71, 5,958-yard Kingsmill Resort. Okun’s three-day total marked the Tribe’s school record for a par-71 tournament and it was the third-best 54-hole score ever for all tournaments for an individual. The Tribe placed third as a team, which was led by sophomore Tina Chang (72-73-74—219).

Among other noteworthy marks last week, Delaware freshman Grace Chau finished 10th place at the Princeton Invitational after carding 10-over par (77-72-77—226) on the par 72, 6,131-yard Springdale Gold Course to post her second top 10 finish in as many weeks. Her second round, 72, is the lowest by a Blue Hen so far this season. She led the Blue Hens to a tied for fifth place team.
