UNCW’s Adams Collects Second Fall CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week Honor – Oct. 10

RICHMOND, Va. (October 10, 2012) - UNCW junior Lori Beth Adams received CAA Women's Golfer of the Week honors for the second time this fall after a third place finish at the rain-shortened Lady Pirate Intercollegiate. 

Adams was named to the All-Tournament Team at the event after carding 1-under par 71.  The Lady Pirate Intercollegiate was cut short due to a rainy second round which was held at the par 72, 6,102-yar Greenville Country Club in Greenville, N.C.  Adams shot her second round of par or lower of the season with the 1-under par result. Her third-place finish matched the lowest result of her career and it was also her third top 10 result of the season.
