W&M’s Wells Named CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week – Oct. 24

RICHMOND, Va. (October 24, 2012) - William & Mary senior Jeremy Wells was selected as CAA Men's Golfer of the Week after a third place finish at the Georgetown Invitational. 

Wells opened the tournament with a daily low 69 in the first round and then finished the final two rounds carding 72 and 70 for a three-round total of 211 (-2).  Wells earned his second top-four finish of the year on the par 71, 6,953-yard Members Club at Four Streams in Beallsville, Md. The senior paced the Tribe to a sixth place team finish.
