UNCW’s Adams Receives CAA Weekly Women’s Golf Honors – Sept. 19

RICHMOND, Va. (September 19, 2012) - UNCW junior Lori Beth Adams earned CAA Women's Golf Weekly accolade after placing among the top 10 at the Cardinal Cup. 

Adams carded a 75-73-73-221 (+5) to earn a ninth place finish for the second straight tournament. The junior led the Seahawks to a tie for 10^th place at the par 72, 6,271-yard Cardinal Club in Simpsonville, Ky.  Adams has now two top-10 finishes of the season and five during her career. Teammates Jonhanna Bjoerk and Laverry Kumar followed Adams as they tied for 14^th shooting 8-over par.  James Madison also competed in the same event.
