Members of the women’s basketball, baseball, men’s golf, women’s tennis, volleyball, women’s track and field, men’s track and field and softball teams took part in the project, which ran over a three-day period at the nearby Wrightsville Beach Marina. The Seahawk cheerleaders also added their support.
As dock assistants, the student-athletes helped pilots dock their boats and bring their fish to the weighing stations.
