The entire women's basketball team and staff made a third annual visit to Parkside Elementary School in south Atlanta for that school's November Fall Festival.

The Georgia State student-athletes participated after school with the more than 500 K-5 students at Parkside. With face, nail and hair painting, games and activites, plus food and beverages, the fun was evident.

Georgia State's Office of Civic Engagement, led by Lavell Lemons, helped set up the visits and attend with the players. School event organizer Dana Maloof kept things moving along for all to enjoy.

The Athletics Department expects all its student-athletes to participate in community events and this is just one of many that Georgia State teams participate in.
