Freshman All-Americans
A trio of CAA baseball players were selected to the Louisville Slugger Freshman All-America team chosen by Collegiate Baseball and the NCBWA Freshman All-America squad.
Named to the two teams were William & Mary first baseman Michael Katz, Northeastern second baseman Jason Vosler and UNCW designated hitter Corey Dick.
Katz was a member of the CAA All-Rookie squad after hitting .316 and leading the Tribe with 10 homers and driving in 58 runs. He started 55 of W&M's 56 contests in his first year.
Vosler was named the CAA Rookie of the Year in 2012 after batting .312 with 15 doubles, six homers, 43 RBI's and 33 runs scored. He also made the All-CAA third team at second base after committing only seven errors in nearly 200 chances.
Dick earned a spot on the CAA All-Rookie squad as well. He batted .303 and contributed 11 doubles, eight homers and 36 RBI's for a Seahawks' squad that captured the CAA regular-season and tournament crowns.
