NORFOLK, Va. (Oct. 4, 2011) - Old Dominion University wrestling has been helping out in
the community. The Monarch wrestlers have done several community
projects, including helping out families that had damages during
Hurricane Irene and several other projects.
Starting last December, the wrestlers have been volunteering for Edmarc,
a hospice for children. A few weeks ago wrestlers went to the
headquarters of Edmarc and cleaned up the grounds and two memorial
gardens. The gardens are used by the families who have lost children.
