BOSTON (Dec. 9, 2010) - The Northeastern women's basketball team took time out of its playing
schedule to participate in a community service event on Saturday, Dec.
4. The Huskies welcomed a group of girls from the Strong Women Strong
Girls program to discuss the concept of teamwork. The girls from the
program spent time with the Huskies learning about what it means to be a
part of a team.
Strong Women Strong Girls is a program that is designed to empower young
girls through mentoring and different activities and experiences. To

Northeastern currently stands at 4-4 on the season and looks to extend
its winning streak to three games when the Huskies welcome Miami (Ohio)
to Solomon Court on Sunday, Dec. 19. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
