ATLANTA (April 26, 2011) - Several members of the GSU Football Team were given another tackling project, but this tackling had nothing to do with football.
They tackled a big painting project through the Atlanta HOMES service agency. The Panthers helped spruce up the home of a senior citizen whose funds were limited.
The Panthers were welcomed by Dorothy Ann Brown and helped paint her home some bright new colors. The good news, too, is that more paint got onto the house than onto the players.
This is just another of the projects of the Georgia State student-athletes who combine to serve more than 5,000 hours in volunteer service in their Atlanta community.
