CAA MEN’S LACROSSE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Fossner logged Player of the Week honors after notching 10 saves in an 8-7 win over Towson Saturday. The senior surrendered five goals in the first 11 minutes of the game against the Tigers then limited Towson to just two goals over the final 49 minutes of play. Fossner also collected two groundballs and forced a turnover in the victory.

Varn picked up his first Rookie of the Week honor after scoring two goals in Hofstra’s 11-6 win over Drexel Saturday. On the year Varn has fired seven shots and scored three times in six games.
