PHILADELPHIA - On Tuesday, November 15 the men's basketball team traveled to the AstraZeneca Hope Lodge of the American Cancer Society, which offers lodging at no cost for cancer patients being treated in the Philadelphia area.
Members of the team served dinner to cancer patients and visited with them afterwards. Team members provided posters and schedule cards and talked about the upcoming season. Plans are underway for this to be an annual visit.
Head Coach Bruiser Flint and his Coaching Staff have a long standing commitment with Coaches vs. Cancer in the greater Philadelphia Region and offer their time and resources to assist persons who are battling cancer and the families who support them.
