WILMINGTON, North
Carolina - UNCW's
student-athletes continued a longtime tradition early Saturday by doing their
part as more than 1,900 freshmen arrived on campus during Move-In '10.
Several teams battled the heat to help the new students and parents move into their rooms on campus. The student-athletes were stationed at different residence halls on campus and helped by moving boxes, refrigerators, televisions, clothing, bedding and other items into designated areas.
The student-athletes were among the more than 1,600 volunteers on hand as the new school year began. Move-In has become a fun and helpful way for the UNCW campus community to welcome new students to campus.
