TOWSON, Md. - Members of the Towson University men's basketball team and staff will help to spread holiday cheer among Baltimore City children on Christmas Eve when they take part in an event at the Cecil Kirk Recreation Center.

The event is part of the after school program coordinated by Cecil Kirk director Anthony Lewis in conjunction with the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks. Approximately 100 pre K through 5th graders are expected to attend.

The Tigers will assist with the presentation of gifts along with photo and autograph signing sessions.

"Cecil Kirk has one of the most extensive after school programs in Baltimore City," said head coach Pat Kennedy. "We're looking forward to adding some special Christmas cheer to these wonderful children."
