In a tradition started by previous Director of Swimming McGee Moody, the team returned for its annual visit to the Williamsburg Fire Department. President Lesslie Hall solicits the team’s help in pulling off their annual fundraising campaign. Hours are spent folding letters, stuffing envelopes, and affixing stamps and labels. While the work is tedious, the cause is worthy. Thousands of letters are sent to the community soliciting donations to help the Volunteer Fire Department. The TRIBE swimmers’ help is recognized as an invaluable resource in the campaign.
