The focus of the assembly was to teach the elementary students the importance of demonstrating good character. The assembly was divided into two sessions to accommodate the large number of students.
Each student-athlete spoke for 5-7 minutes at each of the sessions on the following character traits: Respect, Responsibility, Self-Control, Fairness, Caring, Citizenship and Trustworthiness. The student-athletes enjoyed their visit to the school and are looking forward to working with the elementary school again.
