For 2 days, The State Armory, located at 33rd Street between Market and Arch Streets, on Drexel's campus, became a headquarters for volunteers to collect and pack nonperishable food items and essentials for the families in Haiti. Drexel student-athletes and coaches helped with box preparation to be shipped to Haiti.
The tennis team's good work included the labeling of boxes with dates, assembly of boxes, taping packages together and organizing items for packing.
