The Georgia State women's tennis team chose to partner with Visions Unlimited Community Development to serve Atlanta's youth.

On April 21, the team reached out to work with nearby children with the Visions goal of having meaningful interaction for positive growth and development. The team visited with a group of selected inner-city children and spent time to offer encouragement and advice. Visions Unlimited's mission is to help transform Atlanta's future one youth at a time.

The team helped with homework, helped with reading and worked with some fun art projects while talking and encouraging the children. The women's tennis team once again had the highest grade point average (3.53) of all Georgia State's teams.

This is all part of Georgia State athletic's request that every student-athlete serve hours of community service, even though they have their own classwork, their own practices and games.
