Members of the Women's Rowing team volunteered their time at Mason's 11th Annual Fall for the Book festival. Fall for the Book Festival is Northern Virginia's oldest and largest festival of literature and the arts.

Members of the rowing team helped to promote the festival by decorating the George Mason Statue with a hat, glasses, pompoms and Fall for the Book signs. Through volunteering the student-athletes were able to use their creativity to decorate the statue. Members of the rowing team also volunteered their time throughout the week and attended events during the week long festival.
