JMU SAAC HOSTS STUDENT-ATHLETE SOCIAL AND RAISES MONEY FOR HAITI

On March 15, 2010- The JMU Student-Athlete Advisory Committee hosted their annual Student-Athlete Social at the Convocation Center.

This event included a guest speaker Dr. Mark Warner (JMU's Senior Vice President of Student Affairs), full course dinner, and activities.

During this event SAAC also held a Pennies War "Be the Change for Haiti" and raised almost $300.00 to donate to Haiti Relief Efforts.

Field Hockey was awarded a Pizza Party for donating the most by team- $48.63.
