WILMINGTON, N.C. - Members of the UNCW men's and women's soccer teams spent part of their sunny Sunday afternoon volunteering with the Cape Fear Soccer Association's TopSoccer program.

The TopSoccer program is a community-based training and team placement program for youth athletes with disabilities. It's designed to bring the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, ages 9-19, that has a mental or physical disability.

"We were honored to be a part of the TopSoccer program again this year," said Aidan Heaney, UNCW's men's coach. "Everyone who participated had a great time and enjoyed working with the kids. It's a great way for all boys and girls to experience the wonderful game of soccer. We hope they had as much fun as we did."
