PHILADELPHIA - Drexel Athletics organized the 9th annual City Six Charity 5K over the Easter Weekend. Drexel Athletics developed promotional materials and the on-site volunteers for logistal support.

The "Philadelphia City Six" is an association of the six Division 1 Athletic Departments in Philadelphia (Drexel, LaSalle, Saint Joseph's, Penn, Temple & Villanova) and the committee organizes five city extramural events per year.

The 5K is not just for the college campuses but is a public event that raises funds for the Coaches vs.. Cancer Philadelphia Chapter. This years event saw 233 runners and raised $4000.
