WILMINGTON, N.C. - Three UNCW women's soccer players recently returned from Panama after spending their spring break in the Central American country as part of a goodwill tour with Global Humanitarian Adventures.

Ali Nagle (Baldwinsville, N.Y.), Stephanie Rose (Jacksonville, N.C.) and Chandler Follett (Plano, Texas) traveled with nine other UNCW students and professors to Panama to assist the country's residents with different projects and help repair soccer facilities. The trio took worn nets on the trip that were reworked and used by the local elders.

Global Humanitarian Adventures works in conjunction with the Red Cross to recruit enthusiastic volunteers from across the globe to serve the needs of those less fortunate. GHA accomplishes the two-part goal of providing relief and assistance to needy people of the world, while training, motivating, and empowering a new generation of active, globally-conscious citizens.
