NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware volleyball coaching staff is hosting two week-long camps for girls this summer.
Head coach Bonnie Kenny and her staff, who have led the Blue Hens to three Colonial Athletic Association titles and two NCAA Tournament appearances over the past three seasons, will host the events on July
11-15 and July 18-22 at the Carpenter Sports Building. The camps are for girls ages 11-18.
The camp aims to provide each camper with outstanding instruction from an assembled staff of some of the top collegiate and high school coaches and top collegiate athletes set in the athletics facilities of one of the nation's finest Universities. As one of the top clinicians in the country, Kenny's philosophy focuses not only on fundamental skills and techniques, but also important life skills.
The cost is $550 for overnight campers and $500 for commuters with checks payable to Bonnie Kenny, Volleyball Camp LLC, P.O. Box 331, Newark, DE 19715-0331.
Campers should bring their own knee pads, volleyball shoes, shorts and t-shirts, alarm clock, bedding and pillow, personal items, and athletic tape (if needed).
