SAAC members at James Madison volunteered at the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad on Sunday February 21, 2010. SAAC members from various sports teams worked together to help out at the Harrisonburg Rescue station.

Tasks that group completed in 2 hours included, washing of all rescue vehicles, cleaning common area, sweeping as well as mopping facility including garage and cleaning the sleeping quarters.

SAAC immediately received a big "Thank you" via email from the Harrisonburg Rescue Squad staff. The Harrisonburg Rescue Squad is a 100% Volunteer EMS squad serving Harrisonburg and Rockingham County since 1949.
