Drexel's Associate Head Coach Nicky Hitchens and Former GA Heather Schnepf along with student-athletes Carolina Gibernau and recent field hockey alumna Sarah Gostomski and Bronwyn Cox worked with the School District of Philadelphia to host morning clinics at Northeast High School during the week of June 29 - July 2.

Drexel staff, players and alumni volunteered to run a field hockey camp for youth from the school district of Philadelphia.  It was a great chance for the Drexel student-athletes to spend some time with girls in the community and offer their services, knowledge and experience. 

It was exciting for the girls especially to meet Drexel Women's Field Hockey Senior Carolina Gibernau and ask her questions about attending college and coming to the US play hockey and study at DU.  The goal is to participate again next summer and make this a team tradition!  For more information, please contact Regina Johnson, District of Philadelphia (rmjohnson@philasd.org or 215 -715 - 0686).
