WILMINGTON, N.C. – UNC Wilmington’s annual “Toys for Tots” drive will be held in conjunction with Military Appreciation Night during the men’s basketball game on Monday, Dec. 14, and also at the women’s basketball contest on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Trask Coliseum.

Fans who bring a new unwrapped toy will receive half off the regular admission price for the UNCW-Campbell men’s basketball game. Anyone with a military ID also will be admitted for half price.

“The UNCW basketball games are always an integral part of our collection efforts each year,” said Michael Gautier, “Toys for Tots” coordinator for New Hanover County. “The students and fans are always so generous. I hope we can continue the great relationship we’ve established for many years to come.”

A contingent of 100 Marines from the Camp Lejeune Single Marine Program will be guests of the UNCW Athletic Department at the men’s game with the Camels. In addition, the first 300 fans in attendance will receive a rally towel, courtesy of Time Warner Cable.

“Toys for Tots” also will be conducted on Tuesday when the women’s basketball team takes on Coastal Carolina.
