FAIRFAX, Va. – George Mason’s women’s lacrosse team recently took part in a community service project at the Western Fairfax Christian Ministries Goodwill Store. The team plans to take part in a minimum of two community service activities per month throughout the year.

The team traveled to Chantilly, Va. on Friday, Oct. 9 to help organize the store. Once at the store, team members broke up into groups to organize different groups of merchandise, including men’s and women’s clothing, children’s clothing and home goods.

George Mason’s women’s lacrosse team took part in two community service initiatives during the month of September – Lather Up Lassie and the Sixth Annual Walk for Kids sponsored by 25:40. In addition to visiting the Western Fairfax Christian Ministries Goodwill Store, the team will participate in another activity during the month of October.
