ATLANTA - In continuing to build on the tradition of community service and activism among the Georgia State baseball team, head coach Greg Frady stopped by to lend a hand at the Phi Mu annual Charity Denim sale on Tuesday.

This was the second year in which the Phi Mu's of Georgia State did the sale as a fundraiser to support the Children's Miracle Network.
The group raised a little over $500 over the course of the day.

Coach Frady made a special appearance as the two groups look to start working together in the future and collaborate to support the causes of both the Phi Mu's and baseball team.

"I feel as though it is important for both our student-athletes and coaches to be involved on our campus," commented head coach Greg Frady. "I think the Phi Mu's are doing an excellent job in their commitment to community. This is something that our athletic department and baseball organization feel strongly about as well."

The Georgia State baseball team will open the season on February 19th at Florida State. The home opener will come on Tuesday, February 23rd as the Panthers hosts USC-Upstate at 4 p.m.
