TOWSON, Md. – Towson University’s organization for young Tiger athletics fans, Doc’s Junior Tigers Club, is accepting memberships for the 2009-10 intercollegiate season.

Doc’s Junior Tigers Club is a fun, interactive all-sports group for Towson Tigers fans who are in the eighth grade or lower.

For the first time ever, Doc’s Junior Tigers Club has an Associate Partner, Red Robin Gourmet Burgers Restaurant.

The club offers youngsters the opportunity to attend Towson University athletic events while meeting Tiger student-athletes. Member of Doc’s Junior Tigers Club enjoy benefits above and beyond the average fan.

Members of Doc’s Junior Tigers Club receive the following benefits:
-    Official Doc’s Junior Tigers Club tee-shirt.
-    2009-10 Doc’s Junior Tigers Club membership card.
-    Free posters.
-    Free admission to one (1) pre-determined Doc’s Junior Tigers Club party at a football game, a men’s basketball game, a women’s  basketball game, a men’s lacrosse game, a women’s lacrosse game and a gymnastics meet.

The Tigers’ October 3 football game against New Hampshire has been selected as the date for the first “Doc’s Junior Tigers Club” party.
The annual membership fee for Doc’s Junior Tigers Club is $20 per child. All applicants must be attending the eighth grade or lower. The membership runs from September 1, 2009 to June 1, 2010.
